Eclipse Cast's Sinful Future and Playful Present!

Twilight Cast, MTV Movie Awards Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Last time we chatted with Robsten pals and Twilight costars Michael Welch and Christian Serratos at the MTV Movie Awards, they said the Bella-Edward onscreen action was "only going to get hotter." So, just how hot is that?

"I doubt it'll go R-rated," informed Christian, when we dished with her and Mike at the Mi-6 club opening in West Hollywood. "But I think everyone is going to get exactly what they want [in the sequels]."

Guess Chris can't read our quasi-perverted thoughts, cause it definitely steps into triple-X territory. Maybe we should pick up one of these to sooth our nerves?

Keep reading for more dish from the Eclipse cast (and some other famous faces who are making public guest appearances with the Twi-crew), plus which vamp-playing babe has got everyone running scared...

Rob and Kristen Still in Control!

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images

You may be seeing less and less Robsten lately, but those behind the Twilight scenes sure aren't. One of our very in-the-know sources dished to us that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are hardly being nonchalant about their feelings with each other.

"Everyone who wasn't directly involved in the whole situation obviously speculated about what was going on between them, but lately it's become clear to anyone who works with them—Rob and Kristen are very much together."

So how about their castmates? Are they behaving themselves and staying out of Robsten's way? Surely one name in particular comes to mind...

"Nikki Reed is out of the picture. She has been for a long time," sasses our Eclipse ears.

We've tried contacting Nikki's rep to see if all is still well in billionaire land with Paris Latsis, but have heard nada back. Was it something we said...or rather typed?

As for the rest of the cast, studio and crew, Rob and Kristen being together is still making people on the set just a tad nervous. No one likes to think about the "what if" possibility of Robsten going Splitsville. But everyone is going with it.

If Robsten continue to be low-key and maintains their privacy, we totally think this smooth-sailing relaysh will last. Don't you?

Oh, and as of now, Rob, Kristen and Taylor Lautner will be at the VMAs in person to present a new clip for New Moon—one with much more Rob in it, we're assured. Happy now, folks?

First Look: Volturi Vamp It Up in New New Moon Pics

New Moon, Dakota Fanning LIPSE, BREAKING DAWN, BELLA, EDWARD CULLEN, JACOB BLACK, STEPHANIE MEYER, KRISTEN STEWART, ROBERT PATTINSON, TAYLOR LAUTNER, NIKKI REED, DAKOTA FANNING, JANE, ALEC, ARO, CAIUS, MARCUSKimberly French/ Summit Entertainment

It was only a matter of time before new New Moon photos started to see the (twi)light of day.

And luckily for the breathlessly waiting Twi-hards, that time is now.

Feast your eyes (and any other body parts you wish) on the film's vicious, red-pupiled fresh meat, courtesy of a crop of new promotional photos released today by Summit.

Sure, they may be missing the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner Twi-umvirate, but if you had vampires this badass staring you down, you'd probably mosey on out of frame, too.

Still, new photos of Dakota Fanning as the angel-faced Jane, Cameron Bright as her twin Alec, Michael Sheen as Volturi leader Aro, Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius and Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus—a group we only caught glimpses of in the film's official trailer—aren't such a bad way to enter the weekend.

Breaking Dawn: What's Up With the Movie?!

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Breaking Dawn, Book Cover Deana Newcomb/Summit Entertainment; Little, Brown young Readers

Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie!

While there's been no official announcement that all systems are go for a fourth Twilight flick, a rep for Summit Entertainment promises that Eclipse will not be the last we see of Robert Pattinson & company...

"The fans should rest assured the we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen," the rep said. "As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right."

And as Twilight fans know, that probably means softening the more hard-core aspects of Breaking Dawn.

"Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don't feel a big necessity to see violence and to see gore," Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told us in late April.

Gore or not, Kristen Stewart probably said it best when we chatted with her in March.

"We all really hope there is going to be a number four," she said at the time. "I'm pretty confident that the fans aren't going to...lose interest. The only case that a fourth one wouldn't be made is if all of a sudden people stopped caring, and I really don't think that's going to happen."

Kristen Stewart: The Truth About Twilight, Rob Pattinson and the Fans

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner AP Photo/Katsumi Kasahara

Good news, fanggirls: Kristen Stewart says there will be a fourth Twilight movie. She can't imagine why there wouldn't be a big-screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Breaking Dawn, the last novel in her young vampire series.

As we all know by now, Twilight was one of last year’s biggest hits, New Moon starts shooting any minute now, and the studio most recently announced they've officially started work on developing Eclipse.

"We all really hope there is going to be a number four," Stewart, 18, told me yesterday afternoon when we sat down to chat in a suite at L.A.'s Sofitel hotel. "I'm pretty confident that the fans aren’t going to all of a sudden lose interest. The only case that a fourth one wouldn’t be made is if all of a sudden people stopped caring, and I really don't think that's going to happen."

And that's not about to happen for Stewart, either. In fact, she'd like to set the record straight about critics who have come to attack her as some sort of Hollywood ingrate who doesn't think very highly of Twilight or its more dedicated—some would say obsessed—fan base.

"I love the fans," she insists. "I feel like I am one of the fans and any direct interaction I've ever had with them has been the most warm and pleasant and enthusiastic. If anything, it's the biggest driving force that could propel you to do something."

That doesn’t mean all the new attention—OK, hysteria—can't be overwhelming at times. But when she was recently quoted in a magazine as describing some of these experiences as "psychotic," some felt she was taking a dig at the fans. "It's not normal for me to be in a situation that Twilight puts you in," she explains. "It's not personally normal for me to see 5,000 screaming girls. But I'm not criticizing them for being 'crazy' about me. I’m sort of going, "Wow, this is just crazy!' "

Crazy too are the yet to be proven rumors that she and Robert Pattinson are more than just friends. "Rob and I are great friends," Stewart says. "But I understand why you would assume that when we lean on each other for support, there must be something more…And I'm not criticizing anyone for thinking it, either. If anything, they're really perceptive, because they can see a closeness." (Her longtime boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano, isn't fazed by the talk, either. "We laugh about it," Stewart says.)

When Stewart wasn’t at the Oscars last month, critics pounced again. Did she dislike Twilight so much that she wasn't willing to support it like Pattinson, who was a first-time presenter? Was she scared that the supposed secret romance between her and her costar would be too hard to hide if they appeared together on the same stage on Hollywood's biggest night?

Um, no! She had a very good reason for not being there—she wasn't asked. "If I was invited to the Oscars, I would be there in a nanosecond," she says. "If I got an invitation to the Oscars, I wouldn’t turn it down!"

Perhaps next year she and Pattinson could sing together at the Oscars? Late last month, the two engaged in some late-night karaoke while promoting Twilight in Tokyo. Stewart and Pattinson covered Elton John's "Your Song." "Rob could definitely do a musical," Stewart says.

Also belting out tunes were Hugh Jackman and director Baz Luhrmann, who were in Tokyo for the local premiere of Australia. When Stewart first arrived at the bar, Pattinson and Jackman were already engaged in a "really, really elaborate ABBA moment.” Later on, Luhrmann joined Pattinson at the mic. "It was really funny seeing Baz Luhrmann and Rob singing a David Bowie song," Stewart says. "It was a talky one so they both could sort of talk to each other, and they were riffing back and forth."

She adds with a laugh, "They were looking longingly into each other’s eyes."

As for Stewart, she starts rehearsals for New Moon next week, followed by about four months of filming in Vancouver and Italy with new director Chris Weitz. Then she's off to play Joan Jett in a biopic about her 1970s all-girl band, The Runaways. Stewart plans to do her own singing. "I don't see any reason not to," she says. "If it’s not going to be Joan, it's going to be me."

Her research included spending New Year’s Eve with Jett. "We were in a little city in Washington and she played through midnight," Stewart says. "And then we spent, like, hours into the morning talking."

On her plate right now are two upcoming indies. In the quirky and very sweet Adventureland, from Superbad director Greg Mottola, she's an angst-ridden coed spending her summer working at her hometown amusement park, where she finds herself torn between a married man (Ryan Reynolds) and a lovable nerd (Jesse Eisenberg). In first-time director Mary Stuart Masterson's The Cake Eaters, she's a high school student with a fatal neurological disorder who's trying to find love before it's too late.

"I get to do something that literally if I didn't get to do, I would implode," Stewart says of acting. "There's really no better position for me to be in right now in my life, and I am entirely grateful."

Twi-Screenwriter on Robsten: Leave Their Private Lives out of It!

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Marion Curtis/PictureGroup

Just because Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are such a perfect match on screen, Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg thinks it's time we mind our own business about what goes once the cameras stop rolling.

"Their chemistry on film is so extraordinary," Rosenberg told us at the Entertainment Weekly/Women In Film pre-Emmy party. "They were beautifully cast for those roles and their chemistry is amazing. I think people often confuse chemistry onscreen with chemistry offscreen.

"I think people should just enjoy what's onscreen and leave their privates lives wherever they are," she continued. "I don't actually know what they are."

So what scoop did Ms. Rosenberg tell us about our fave vampire movies? Read on to find out…

First up, Breaking Dawn. Rosenberg is not allowed to could not confirm she's going to be tackling the script. "That's still up in the air," she said. "We're still talking and nothing's been decided."

Eclipse's Riley (Xavier Samuel) will have a much bigger presence in the movie than he has in Stephenie Meyer's novel. "This is a character that's really interesting and I got a chance to flesh him out," Rosenberg said, adding, "It's going to be really interesting watching the relationship between Riley and Victoria [Bryce Dallas Howard] growing."

As for the next flick to be released, New Moon, she said, "There's a lot of things that go on in New Moon that expand on the book. The conflict at the end with the Volturi is an example. Building on them is going to be really intriguing for the fans."

Among the other guests at the EW/WIF bash was Twilight's original Victoria, Rachelle Lefevre, who is doing just fine since her dramarama with Summit Entertainment, thank you very much. "To be honest, I sort of feel like I have everything," the ginger beauty glowed. "I have an amazing boyfriend, I love my house, I'm wearing a great Jay Godfrey dress and I'm at an Emmy party."

And we can attest to the amazing boyfriend, The Tudors star Jamie Thomas King—well, at least what he looks like. We got a peek of him at the bash and he is quite the hottie.

Also seen mingling at the soiree, which took place at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, were Audrina Patridge, Sela Ward, AnnaLynne McCord, Shaun Sipos, new So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman, Andrea Bowen, Katie Cassidy, Johnny Galecki, John Leguizamo, and Sharon Stone, who made her way through the party on the arm of EW's managing editor Jess Cagle.

An Insider's Guide to Eclipse

Pattinson and Stewart as Edward and Bella
An Insider's Guide to Eclipse
There's never a dull moment for the Twilight cast, who headed to Vancouver Monday to begin pre-production for Eclipse, the third installment of Stephenie Meyer's hit vampire series.

Eclipse will have all of the tortured, mortal angst that Kristen Stewart's character, Bella Swan, goes through in Twilight and New Moon – but with more action, more blood, and yes, more Robert Pattinson.

The book picks up with Pattinson's character, Edward Cullen, and Bella reunited as a couple, while Jacob (Taylor Lautner) continues to vie for Bella's heart. But as Edward and Jacob compete for Bella's affections, the clans of vampires and werewolves unite over the common enemy: A set of murderous vampires (including the Volturi) who are on the hunt for Bella.

Here's what to expect on and off set in Vancouver as filming gets underway.

New Faces on Set
With Rachelle Lefevre no longer portraying the blood-thirsty Victoria, Bryce Dallas Howard will step in to fill her role. Another new face is Australian actor Xavier Samuel, who plays a recruit in Victoria's army of vampires out for Bella's blood. Eclipse also provides meatier plotlines and more screen time for fan favorites Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone, who play Rosalie and Jasper Hale.

Rob and Kristen Together
While their characters get engaged in the movie, Pattinson and Stewart have been spending more time together off set as well. Starting Aug. 6 in Los Angeles, the pair spent two nights in a row together, attending concerts at the Hotel Café and then mingling with pals at the Chateau Marmont. Word on the movie set is that "[Michael] Angarano and Kristen Stewart are completely broken up," a source tells PEOPLE. "Everyone is pretty convinced that the Pattinson and Stewart are hooking up."

An Insider's Guide to Eclipse| The Twilight Saga, Movie News
Fierce Fights!
The vampires and werewolves are training for more intense fight scenes. "In Eclipse there is an epic battle," screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told Entertainment Tonight. "With every book, with every episode of the movie, it gets grander in scale." The actors are planning accordingly: In Vancouver, they've begun fight training and getting in shape for the demanding roles. Peter Facinelli joked that to prepare, "I re-read Eclipse, I read the script. And then I got on a treadmill."

Cast Bonding
After arriving in Vancouver, Reed, Facinelli, Lautner, Howard, Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and producer Wyck Godfrey all convened over dinner in a private room at CinCin Restaurant on Robson Street. "It's really enjoyable," Greene says of hanging with the cast. "We can just be open and honest." Other favorite hangouts include the Glowball Grill, where Pattinson likes the spaghetti and meatballs, and the Yaletown Brewery, where the male cast members have gone for after-work drinks.

Final Film?
Eclipse is the last planned filmed adaptation of The Twilight Saga – for now. "I haven't heard anything about Breaking Dawn," Facinelli told Twilight Examiner on Aug. 3. "When we shot Twilight, no one knew if it was going to be a success or not, and we didn't know if we were going to shoot a second movie or not … If New Moon performs in the box office, and the fans come out, and Eclipse, then that's their way of saying they want more. I'm hoping when New Moon comes out they'll push the green button."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Low-Key Concert Night | Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson

Before jetting off to Vancouver to begin filming Eclipse, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got some downtime together and enjoyed a concert Thursday night and then again, Friday night, in Hollywood.

The Twilight stars snuck into Bobby Long's concert at Hotel Cafe about three songs into his set with Pattinson's close pal Marcus Foster (who wrote a song on the Twilight soundtrack) on Thursday. The group watched the performance from a curtained off area on the stage where there was sound equipment and a few bar stools.

"Robert was super low-key when he walked in," an onlooker tells PEOPLE, adding Stewart, 19, and Pattinson, 23, went unnoticed by fans the entire night. After Long, a friend of Pattinson's, finished his set, the group quickly exited the venue and jumped into a waiting cab.

The two headed out for a second night in a row Friday, this time catching Foster's show at Hotel Cafe.

"Kristen and Rob, just the two of them, came in and walked towards the curtained-off area on stage where they watched Marcus," says a source. "They seemd to go unnoticed."

Stewart and Pattinson later showed up together with a group of pals at the Chateau Marmont, and hung out well into the night.

While the two have remained tight-lipped on their relationship, the actors have spent time together off set – and are more than costars, according to a source.

"Word on the set of Twilight is that [Michael] Angarano, [Kristen's boyfriend], and she are completely broken up," a source tells PEOPLE. "While people don’t want to talk about it, everyone is pretty convinced that Pattinson and Stewart are hooking up."

Robert Pattinson interview in UK Edition of “O.K!” Magazine

In a recently published interview with the UK Edition of OK Magazine, Robert Pattinson talked about the ‘Twilight‘ phenomenon, his female fans, and his relationship with Kristen Stewart!! Check it out below!

Did you have any idea what you were in store for when you signed up for Twilight?

No way. I read the script and I barely even knew that they were books too. The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen, because I’d just seen Into The Wild.

Are you saying you had a little bit of a crush on her?
Of course! No, we are just very good friends.

But there have been a lot of rumours about you two…
I know – but honestly, we are just friends.

Do you have a girlfriend?
No, no. I am young, free and single.

What do you look for in a lady?
I like people being forward. Gosh, I don’t know. I like strong people, chiselled abs… I don’t know, I take what I can get!

You have a huge amount of female fans, are you ever scared by them?
I had no idea people could get so obsessed. But it’s not scary – it’s amazing. People just project their idea of my character on to me and they just seem to assume that I’m the same, when in reality I’m not.

How comfortable are you with all the idol-like attention?
It’s kind of weird, but I still haven’t really had time to reflect on it because I’ve been doing stuff to do with Twilight and my other movies.

I’m working constantly and I feel like I’m always surrounded by Twilight people – if not my work colleagues, then my fans. Right now it is fans – it’s a little bizarre if I’m honest.

What is the hardest part of being Edward Cullen?
Probably trying to be scary when you’re supposed to be looking pretty at the same time.

Does it worry you that you may always be cast as a heart-throb?
I’m so surprised things have worked out the way they have, I just keep thinking the whole time, I don’t really have the right personality to fit in to that kind of role.

If you could live forever, like Edward Cullen, what would you do?
Probably learn to speak French. Or I might spend three weeks straight with no sleep learning the piano. You’d get really good at stuff because you would have time to do everything.
